Timeline

  • Apply to the program and submit your idea or product for review.

  • Teams and individuals with the most promising submissions will be contacted by our team for an interview in order to get to know you and your idea a little better. The interview period is 14-21 May.

  • The best and most promising applicants and ideas will receive their invitation to the final competition in Rome and their shot at the 10.000€ prize.

  • Finalists will be invited to present their ideas in front of almost 100 investors and companies at a Demo Day in Rome. 10.000 € will be awarded to the winner as decided by the competition’s donors.

  • The winning team will be invited to engage with partners and industry leaders in a three month mentorship opportunity where a proof of concept can be realized. May - October 2024.

Grand finale in Rome

For the culmination of the competition, the finalists are invited to a Demo Day in Rome* to pitch their ideas in front of potential clients, investors, mentors, and companies.

  • We welcome applications from both individuals and teams who have innovative ideas leveraging Artificial Intelligence to address real-world challenges. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or a newcomer to the startup scene, if you have a passion for driving positive change through AI, we encourage you to apply.

    Each team can present only one business idea

  • Projects spanning various industries such as healthcare, education, sustainability, social justice, and more are eligible for the challenge. As long as your idea involves the use of AI technology and has the potential to make a significant impact, it is eligible for consideration.

  • Participation is 100% equity free. No fees or extra costs are required from founders or teams.

  • Applications will be evaluated based on several criteria: the innovativeness of the idea, potential impact, feasibility, scalability, and the strength of the team or individual behind the project. We're looking for ideas that not only demonstrate technical proficiency but also a clear understanding of market needs and opportunities.

  • Participants must submit a detailed project proposal outlining their AI-driven solution. The proposal should include:

    Problem Statement: Clearly articulate the societal or industry problem your AI solution aims to address.

    AI Solution Overview: Describe how AI technologies will be applied to solve the problem effectively.

    Impact Assessment: Discuss the potential positive impact of your AI solution on the target audience or stakeholders.

    Implementation Plan: Outline the steps involved in developing and deploying the AI solution.

    Demo or Prototype: Shortlisted participants will be invited to showcase a demo or prototype of their AI solution. The demo/prototype should demonstrate the functionality and effectiveness of the AI solution in addressing the identified problem.

  • The by-invitation-only network where top incubators, accelerators, scientific parks and university entrepreneurship programs from around the world connect and create opportunities for their alumni.
